A hollow PLA egg that twists apart at a seam you have to hunt for. Closed, it reads as a solid object: scaled, weighty in the hand, the sort of thing that sits on a shelf next to the books it belongs to. Open, it’s a small lidded vessel: a ring, a folded note, a set of dice, a spare key.
Printed one at a time on a Bambu machine, in whatever color you pick from what’s actually on our shelf. Layer lines are visible up close, which is the point: this is a printed object, not an injection-molded one.
Care: PLA softens in heat. Keep it out of a parked car and off a sunny windowsill. Wipe with a dry cloth. Not a toy: small parts, and the shell is thin enough to crack if it’s thrown.
