Six weeks.
That’s how long my editor gave me to change my book from a baseball romance to one about hockey. A complete re-write. Which is how I find myself in Montana, a thousand miles from home, researching hockey, and preparing to meet a local expert.
There’s one small problem. Or rather a big one.
A big, grumpy problem.
My expert is none other than Nick Galaxy – the single dad and hockey captain I ran into minutes after landing in Montana and made a… well let’s just say I didn’t make the best first impression. Neither did he for that matter.

Rebecca Jenshak is a new adult romance author. A Midwest native transplanted to the desert, she likes being outdoors (drinking on patios) and singing (in the shower) when she isn’t writing books about hot guys and the girls who love them.
She has been a book lover for as long as she can remember. She looked forward to reading assignments and book reports, trips to the library, and even the hand-me-down books she would get from her older sister and cousins.
In college, she majored in English and studied literature and technical writing. She wanted to be the next Judy Blume (as if there could ever be another Judy!) and thought she would write middle-grade or young adult.
She first started trying to write a book in 2011. She went through a few genres before finding what she liked best—romance!
It took a few years of picking it up and putting it down, but in 2016 she finally did it! She finished a book. And then another. And then a few more! She couldn’t (and didn’t want to) stop.
She loves books, romance, and sports, so being able to combine those things has been a dream come true!
